It’s Father’s Day, and all day I have been a bit emotional. I watched Meet the Press this morning, while Kristen did some house work, and I played with the twins (Abby was at the camp with my folks). Watching the panel talk about Tim Russert, and his relationship with his son and his father really got me teary-eyed.

I’m a lucky Dad and a lucky son.

I’m woefully behind on my blogging.

It’s a task to keep these things updated, I’m learning that fast. I plan on a new blog tonight about the kid’s surgeries (yes plural, and yes they are both fine). And another blog about the building of our new Swing Set and subsequent visit to each and every Home Depot and Lowes on the North Shore.

(oh yeah, go and buy the Marvel hardcover version of THE HEDGE KNIGHT II, not only is it a great read, but it just might help them to do another — and give me some more work in the process!)
