Back at the Grind

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Been awhile since posting. Holidays, winter bugs, snow, work, and all that hula-a-bub will do that to you.

It’s been a busy winter. Prepping the latest rounds of books from the Dabel gang these past weeks, Dresden files, Wild cards and a Dean Koontz Frankenstein book. They all look very good, and it seems the boys have stepped it up a notch. Look forward to seeing these in print.

Marvel has been rolling along with Anita Blake, Sworn Sword and Lords of Avalon (of which issue number one has sold out!). And each month I really look forward to getting the books in to work on, mostly because I cannot wait to see where the story is headed.

I’ll be heading down to NYC in April for the big New York Comic-Con, I hope that I can put alot of faces to some names!

Marathon week of work!

Monday, February 11th, 2008

Just finished a marathon week of work for Marvel. Anita Blake issue 9, Lords of Avalon issue 3, and Sworn Sword issue 5. All look great!

Also had the pleasure of finishing up the first draft of Wild Cards: the Hard Call issue one. This is probably the best book i have seen the Dabel produce since the first Hedge Knight. Great art and a fun story.
